The Application Process
Ensure your business meets the definition of an attraction.
Review the financial investment and the value of this investment in the Association.
Call the Association if you have additional questions, 850.222.2885.
Read the Attraction Code of Practices.
Complete the Application and the Attraction Code of Practices Commitment Form. (You will need a copy of the FREE Adobe Acrobat Reader to view and print these documents.)
Send the completed forms and a check for the non-refundable application fee deposit of $250 to the Association office at 1114 North Gadsden St., Tallahassee, FL 32303.
Your application will be forwarded to the Membership Liaison. You may be invited to make a presentation about your attraction to the board of directors.
The board of directors acts upon the recommendations of the Membership Liaison. You will be notified in writing concerning board action.
An accepted applicant has 30 days to complete financial arrangements and to designate a primary representative and two additional representatives.
At the completion of all financial arrangements, you will receive a New Member package including the use of all membership benefits.
An accepted applicant will be assigned an Ambassador. Ambassadors are volunteer representatives from other member attractions. Their job is to help you understand how to benefit immediately from membership in the Florida Attractions Association.
You and your attraction will be officially introduced to the membership at the New Member Orientation and at the annual meeting held at the Annual Conference in May. New members receive 50% off the registration fee for their first conference.
