2009 Conference Attendees enjoy the special music of Willie Travel |
A special highlight of the Florida Attractions Association 2009 Annual Conference & Trade Show was the opportunity for attendees to enjoy the music of Willie Travel. The guitar playing Willie Travel was introduced as a surprise guest during the Friday, May 29 Conference Finale at the Hyatt Regency Sarasota. During this wrap up session and through his music, Willie Travel was able to transform the very essence of our diverse membership and our 2009 conference theme into a celebratory tune. His wonderful singing and playing was also complimented by the FAA Conference scrapbook which projected “live” on the screen behind him as he performed. His lyrics touched the hearts of our attendees as we collectively reflected upon the unique aspects that make our sunshine state a remarkable destination.
This all started… Back in 1949 The Golfers and The Families… Little did they know… Word got around…Florida’s the place to go And you just kept on growin’… It is your imagination… Reflections…… On sixty years of fun Projections….....Of all the good times to come They come to play…To get away FAA makes it happen….In the Sunshine State You’ve got it all…There is so much here to see You’ve got Dolphins…You’ve got Lions Pirate ships and Cruise Lines… Family Vacations... Newly Weds on Honeymoons From walks on the beach…Classic airplanes in the sky.. Projections….....Of all the good times to come They come to play…To get away FAA makes it happen….In the Sunshine State! |
