Tropical July 4th Celebration at Marie Selby 

Live music will highlight Marie Selby Botanical Gardens’ popular Tropical Fourth of July Celebration, Saturday evening, July 4th, on the Gardens’ beautiful bayfront grounds.
Festivities start at 6:00 p.m.  Judging for the best patriotic attire contest will begin at 7:00 p.m. on the west side of the Great Room by the Bay (where the band is playing). Prizes will be awarded for this contest at 7:30 p.m. in the same location. The evening will culminate at nightfall in a spectacular community fireworks display along the bayfront.

All-American cookout fare as well as beer, wine, soda, and water will be available for purchase. No food, beverages or coolers are allowed into the Gardens for this special holiday event. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets.

Tickets will be available for purchase online and at the Welcome Center beginning June 5.  Buy your tickets in advance to avoid waiting in line the night of the event. Tickets are $15 for Selby Gardens’ members, $18.00 for non-members, and children 12 and under are admitted free. Tickets purchased in advance will be held at "Will Call" in the Welcome Center entrance to the Gardens.
