Summer Fun at Miami Children's Museum |
MIAMI, FL – Miami Children’s Museum (2009) presents another summer of fun with their annual Summer Camp located at the Museum conveniently between Downtown Miami and Miami Beach from June 8 – September 4, 2009. Campers ages 4 – 10 will enjoy a fun-filled learning experience as they explore the Museum from top to bottom, while developing new interests, and making new friends. Join camp for a week or all summer long! Whether a MiChiMu Mate (ages 3 – 5) or part of the Castaway Crew (6 – 10), campers can choose from 13 different weekly themes relating to arts, science, culture and even entrepreneurship, all within a safe hands on learning environment. Camp takes place Monday – Friday from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. MCM also offers extended care that caters to working parents and their busy schedules. Before care is from 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. while After Care is from 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Both are available daily at an additional per week fee.MCM Summer Camp Registration, per week or for the wholesummer, is open now. Fees are $195 per week for MCM members and $220 per week for Non-Members. Fee also includes a camp t-shirt and extended care and Subway lunch are available for an additional fee. PLEASE NOTE: Parents are encouraged to register prior to the start of camp to avoid the $20 walk-in fee at the start of every week. And MCM is not just for kids. The Museum seeks volunteers ages 12 and up to assist with camp and work closely with the kids to provide a fun, safe and memorable experience for all campers.
