Summary:

Cape Florida lies on the southern tip of Key Biscayne, named by Ponce de Leon in 1513 during his first expedition to Florida, and is the home of an historic lighthouse built in 1825. The beautiful beach draws visitors for sunbathing and picnicking. The park offers guided tours of the lighthouse and lighthouse keeper's cottage. The Lighthouse Caf‚ offers casual waterfront dining. Hours: Open 8 a.m. until sundown 365 days a year.
