Florida Attractions Association Honor Bunting and Middleton Outstanding Members of the Year

Tallahassee, FL -- The Florida Attractions Association, a tourism industry trade association based in Tallahassee, Florida is pleased to announce that Valerie Bunting, General Manager of Disney's Port Orlean's Resort was named Outstanding Attraction Member of the Year. This award was announced during the FAA's 2010 Annual Conference which was held May 26 – 28, 2010 in St. Augustine, Florida.

Florida Attractions Association Chairman Mark McHugh said, "We are pleased to honor Val with this award to thank her for her tireless, ongoing commitment to the mission of the FAA."

Val served as a Board Member for two years and contributed her time and experience to provide creative leadership and insight in the strategic planning for the Florida Attractions Association.

Tallahassee, FL - The Florida Attractions Association, a tourism industry trade association based in Tallahassee, Florida is pleased to announce that Lauren Middleton, Vice President of Client Development and Sales at FPIS Brochure Distribution and Travel Marketing was recently named Outstanding Associate Member of the Year. This award was announced during the FAA's 2010 Annual Conference which was held May 26 – 28, 2010 in St. Augustine, Florida.

Florida Attractions Association Chairman MArk McHugh said, "We are so thankful for the organizational and sales talents that Lauren shares with the FAA. She is a thoughtful and dedicated member who is carrying on the tradition of her family’s historical involvement with the FAA admirably!"

Lauren served as the Silent Auction Chairperson for the 2010 Annual Conference and Tradeshow. Under her leadership the Silent Auction Committee was able to raise over $18,000 for the Florida Attractions Association.

Established in 1949, the Florida Attractions Association has grown in size and stature. Today the Florida Attractions Association represents 90 Attractions, 38 Florida state parks, and 79 Associate members.
