The Nominating Committee will soon meet to develop a slate for the Board of Directors to be considered at the annual meeting during this year's Annual Conference, May 26 - 28 at the Renaissance Resort at World Golf Village in St. Augustine. The Nominating Committee is interested in your recommendations.
If you have any suggestions, please reply to Bill Lupfer - lupfer@floridaattractions.org - no later than April 9, 2010. Your input is not a nomination but rather a suggestion for the Nominating Committee's consideration.
Board Seats Requiring Slate from the Nominating Committee
At-Large – 2 Seats
Ralph Rodriguez – Florida Aquarium, eligible for reelection
Rick Cain – St. Augustine Lighthouse, eligible for reelection
North – 1 Seat
Open Seat – Currently filled by Sue VanVleet – termed out
South – 1 Seat
Open Seat – Currently filled by Deborah Thibos, not seeking reelection
Other seats may become vacant if a director serving a current term is nominated for Vice Chairman.
Please include the following information in your reply:
1. Name, title and attraction name of your suggestion(s) for the Nominating Committee's consideration. (You may recommend more than one person). Please include a statement supporting your recommendation.
2. Your Name and Company.
