Attraction Member

An attraction is an establishment, site, facility, landmark, institution, or service

With an admission charge which is considered a fee for entry;

In permanent headquarters;

Which is located in the state of Florida;

Which has been open for business for a period of 12 consecutive months;

Which has as its principal focus entertainment, cultural, educational, recreational, scientific, or historical activities;

Which is family-oriented and allows and encourages the attendance and participation of both adults and minors in the majority of its activities and does not exclude minors from attendance and participation in its primarily advertised activities;

Which contributes to the attraction of tourists to the state of Florida;

Which is open to the public with regular days of closing and hours of operation prominently advertised and disseminated and operates for a period of at least three (3) consecutive months;

Whose attraction business is consistent with the purposes of the Florida Attractions Association.

Affiliate Member

Which is located in the state of Florida;

Which has been open for business for a period of 12 consecutive months;

Which has as its principal focus entertainment, cultural, educational, recreational, scientific, or historical activities;

Which allow and encourage the attendance and participation of both adults and minors in the majority of its activities and does not exclude minors from attendance and participation in its primarily advertised activities;

Which contributes to the attraction of tourists to the state of Florida;

Which is open to the public with regular days of closing and hours of operation prominently advertised and disseminated;

Whose business is consistent with the purposes of the Florida Attractions Association.

Allied Member

An allied member is any business or organization which is actively engaged in providing goods and/or services to the attractions industry.  Businesses which qualify for attraction or affiliate membership shall not be eligible for allied membership.
