Florida Attractions Committee of Continuous Existence
The Florida Attractions Association’s committee of continuous existence is organized and operated in accordance with written bylaws containing the procedures for election of officers/directors clearly defining the organization membership. The committee is certified by the Department of State, Division of Elections. As part of the application for certification the committee discloses the area of special interest and the affiliated organization which created it. At least 25% of its income must be derived from dues/assessments payable on a regular basis by its membership pursuant to its bylaws.
The purposes of FACCE are:
to promote and strive for the improvement of government by encouraging and stimulating Florida attractions and others to take a more active and effective part in governmental affairs.
to encourage Florida attractions and others to understand the nature and actions of their government, as to important political issues, and as to the records of officeholders and candidates for elective office.
to assist Florida attractions and others in organizing themselves for effective political action and in carrying out their civic responsibilities.
